Since August 15,2011 , the Service chapter has distributed around 16,000 kgs of rice,2200 blankets,800 packets of food to various deprived areas in Kolkata as wel as flood affected areas of Sunderbans, South 24 Parganas.

Adoption of "Sapla" village at Sunderbans in 2012 :-

Only 3 hours drive from kolkata , it is appalling to discover the apathy of this area consisting of 1100+ villagers. The first major project is Tubewell boring for drinking water , which is scarce here. This will be followed by Sanitation and Hygiene (building of toilets), Medical assistance , Food,Clothing , Education for children and Vocational Training for adults etc. These are some of the activities planned by volunteers from this chapter.
